BackupCheck

BackupCheck is a simple utility that verifies all files in specified folders are properly backed up — just as you would do it manually, by comparing files one by one. There are many clever and sophisticated backup applications out there, but you can't always be sure what they are doing. With BackupCheck, it's straightforward: every file in the specified folders is checked for an exact duplicate in the matching backup folders. It might not be the most space-efficient approach, but you have total control. BackupCheck gives you a clear overview of all file statuses; it is then up to you to copy files over, or let BackupCheck do it for you. You create no dependency on any software — not even BackupCheck itself — as all backup files are directly accessible via Finder.
